Dr. Prior specializes in relationship therapy with individuals, couples, and families. He works with compassion and sensitivity on marriage and family issues as well as issues of personal stress and anxiety, depression, attachment disorders, substance abuse, grief and loss. He has significant experience working with life transition and vocational issues.
Randall is a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and has a long association with the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. As an ordained Episcopal minister he has extensive parish and pastoral counseling experience. He serves on the adjunct faculty of the Virginia Theological Seminary, where he teaches pastoral care and counseling.
Randall graduated from the Institute for Pastoral Psychotherapy in 1983 and was awarded the Doctor of Ministry in Marriage and Family from Eastern Baptist Seminary (now Palmer Seminary), in Philadelphia , PA in 1990. He did course work in family therapy at Virginia Tech and is experienced in the use of the Prepare/Enrich Curriculum for couples.
